Internal microSD card import process (Ikon 5ch & Ikon Sleep EEG)

Step-by-step instructions

This article explains how to correctly import data from the internal microSD card when using Ikon 5ch or Ikon Sleep EEG devices.

  1. Connect the amplifier (powered off) to the computer using the supplied USB cable. Once the device is detected by the computer, the battery LED will turn orange or green, depending on the amplifier’s battery level.
  2. Press the Power button once to establish the connection between the amplifier and the computer.
Important: When the amplifier is connected to the computer via USB and the Power button is pressed, the device does not turn on in normal operation mode: The white LEDs will not blink and will not remain on. The battery LED will remain solid (orange, or green if the battery is fully charged). This behavior is expected and required to access the internal microSD card.
  3. Wait until the computer detects the internal microSD card as an external storage device (e.g. INTENSO (D:)), as shown in the image below.

  4. Open SennsLite and go to the Data Manager module. Locate the specific folder containing the data you want to import.
  5. Select the corresponding .bbx file and click the Import SD card button (circled in green in the image below).
Please note that the SD card icon will remain red until the data is imported: red indicates that the data has not been imported yet. Once the import is completed successfully, the icon will turn green.

  6. After the SD card content has been successfully imported, you can export the data to CSV format by clicking the Export CSV button on the same screen (circled in pink in the previous image).
